It is recommended to increase a diet that is rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grain breads and cereals. These food groups help reduce the risk of colon cancer. Certain diseases are also known to have strong association with colon cancer. These include a history of colon polyps, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease.
